What for ? Our aircraft carriers spend more time in maintenance than at sea. At least this is true of the INS Vikramaditya . Besides they don't venture more than 1000 kms away from our coasts , MOSTLY. Compare that to US carriers which voyage around the world always on short notice to join action in troubled spots .
Exactly. US and France (U.K. previously and maybe building back up to it) are the only nations to maintain a credible high tempo carrier force (and the French struggle with presence because of only having 1 carrier) that conduct long global deployments away from their shores. Has an Indian CBG ventured beyond the Indian EEZ….ever? The typical US CBG deployment is upwards of 4-6 months (can be up to 9 in operations), the IN’s longest carrier deployments don’t seem to be longer than a month

Also Indian Navy along with DRDO should develop anti-satellite capability against a satellite at the lower end of low Earth orbit.

RIM-161 Standard Missile 3

The SM-3 is primarily used and tested by the United States Navy and also operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.

watched this old video....defense matrix said our destroyer, frigate nd corvette dont hv towed active/passive arrey sonars, excpet for 6 ships (3 talwar frigate nd 3 delhi class destroyers). even our drdo based nagin towed active/passive arrey sonars r not successful by CAGS reports. so they r easy target for enemy submarines.
anyone hv some knowledge about it??

Interesting system, basically a more advanced RIM 116.
with certain changes can replace our ancient RBU 6000 very easily.
Modular Design with different pods for different types of missile like Anti Ship Missiles against USV, Anti Sub Missiles against UUVs, Anti Air missiles against UAVs etc, Not to mention due to modularity we can choose employ a mix of longer range (in fewer numbers) or smaller range (in huge numbers) missiles based on the threat perception.

Hope that the DRDO version is just as advanced as the Naval Group Version
