It's Brahmos- that's enough.
Almost all anti-ship missiles available today which successfully detonates on enemy ship have enough capability to cripple or sink the ship not just Brahmos.
The problem is that missiles tend to miss their target a lot due to soft or hard counter measures, anti-missile weapons, problems with the missile and other such factors.

The reason why navies prefer large battery of ready to fire missile in VLS is because they can have redundant attacks simultaneously.

This is why Indian destroyers seem to be under-armed.

Educational Oppurtunities!!!! What they want to learn from Goras that how eat money in a precise way. GOVERNMENT IS ALSO INTERESTED IN WASTING hard earned tax payers money.
It's not a waste of money. Training hard is as important as the equipment you have, and being the largest Navy on the face of the earth for decades now I am sure the US Navy has a thing or two to teach. Training with them will only help us.

There is no waste here, they can gain a great deal of experience and skills by going for such courses and it will give them different perspectives. Intermixing with members of armed forces from other countries is one of the best ways to keep yourself ahead of the game and learn new things.

Brahmos missile launchers(?) on an upgraded Delhi- Class destroyer. The location is Bombay dockyard.

The box launchers have a width of 2.3 m and an (inclined) length of 8.3 m.

Sadly the arm launchers are retained for some reason.

Yes, retaining the arm launcher is a let down. But the 3 Delhi class destroyers will be transferred to ENC, so probably IN is modest in the upgrade.
But if they follow the pattern for Shivalik class and retain the arm launchers, I will be much more disappointed.

It's a huge upgrade when compared with previous Kh 35 missiles on this class which were subsonic, with lower range & had no land attack capabilities.

Few years back , around 2012 to 14 .
I used to hear that 41 ships are under construction.
Good that now it's down to 30
No-no, while the order book has slimmed down a bit, the 40-ish orders included other types as well. There are different ways to count the orders. For example, Navy chief would never count SSBNs in his count.

Current status of Navy's orderbook

All wont be coming in the next 5 years...
Nilgiri Class would be overall delayed and last 2 Talwar Class are scheduled for 2027 and 28 anyway.
But do add 2 more Kalvari Class and 2 more Arihant Class within the next 5 years.
And offcourse, INS Anvesh, the missile range instrument ship.
