We sooth asians are incredibly disorganized people.

Yup. But most of the buildings and streets in Dushanbe seen in the video weren't there 15 years ago, so it's not exactly soviet legacy that the video is showing. They've completely renovated the place.Basic trivia: It was a part of a super power known as Soviet Union.
The thing is, the city was already planned and built. Buildings isn't equal to urban planning.Yup. But most of the buildings and streets in Dushanbe seen in the video weren't there 15 years ago, so it's not exactly soviet legacy that the video is showing. They've completely renovated the place.
But most of their economy is from remittances.
And what do you want to prove with it?Still they have maintained the infra. City is super clean and people don't drive. like maniac.
That india's disorder and dirtyness is not due to low income, its a cultural issue. Compared to Sooth asia, even other poorer countries are cleaner. Myanmmar is cleaner than india. Kabul is cleaner than Karachi and Lahore. The thing is, the city was already planned and built. Buildings isn't equal to urban planning.

Unlikely thinking….Food inflation is going to rip through the roof in the coming months.
No chance of a rate cut in the near future.
If monsoon plays truant this year too, expect the unthinkable.
There is going to be some serious squabbling between center and state over funds.
‘It was 3% growth rate under Indira Gandhi which got it derogative name of Hindu rate of growth. It stuck under Rajiv Gandhi and host of PMs until Modi arrived and changed it all.A quick question:
Why is it called 'the hindu rate of growth'? I find it very derogative...
It's a failure of governance too. So many municipalities can't even do basic things like waste collection properly. That india's disorder and dirtyness is not due to low income, its a cultural issue. Here is yangon, city of 6 million again in Myanmmar, a country with less than half of India's GDP per capita and in middle of civil war.
Old city area, doesn't have great infra but still clean :
Indians (specially in the north) need belt kutai dictatorship for 10 years to fix bad habit of its populace.
Still they have maintained the infra. City is super clean and people don't drive. like maniac.
This is something Indians do not understand and will keep making excuses. India and the subcon in general is a very unique shithole. The people in this region are too used to living in filth and treat public property as their personal dustbin. To make things worse, the local municipalities are completely broken and do not do the bare minimum of cleaning the streets and paving roads. Many Indian cities have GDP per capita > $5000 now. Do any of them have the infra to match it? This needs a top-down hammering. SBM needs to be revamp with very severe punishments for local MLAs and officials for any sign of litter or rubbish on roads, open gutters and landfills. That india's disorder and dirtyness is not due to low income, its a cultural issue. Compared to Sooth asia, even other poorer countries are cleaner. Myanmmar is cleaner than india. Kabul is cleaner than Karachi and Lahore.

This is what happens when someone skips Autocracy. We should introduce caning for such. Better if public shaming is included as people value their "Aukaat" more than their life.Very true.
majority of Indians are with no basic manners, no basic civilianship, not responsible, unclean , unhygenic arrogant, no discipline, no paraffin discipline. Lack of proper education is clearly visible in every places and scenarios.
how average or majority of Indians behave on roads, even in their temples is more than enough to understand our culture and basic civilianship.
things should start from school, with committed passionate teachers who can educate their student to become a better civilian with responsibility, aware of cleanliness, kind to each others and how to behave. It looks those who are on top of our education system not even aware of it,
india, even with high economy and all the boasting around it will continue as dirty unclean chaotic shythole because of these for next generations because we haven’t even started to change it.
anyway i made this post on the other thread and people just ignored it, so i will repost it here. This is the peak example for how used to broken infrastructure urban Indians are. And this is our so called middle-class/educated people. If they themselves give 0 fucks about proper street infrastructure, then why would the rural masses care?
Why are Indians so used to living in dust/filth/broken infra and not demand local municipalities to up their game. See this video. Its from Vadodara Gujarat. Almost every building here is <5 years old. Take a good look at the "road". There is no footpath and instead just a sand pit, and roads look very uneven/inconsistent. Just rebuilding the road with uniform signages and lane markings, and adding footpaths and landscaping (completely removing any instance of dust and sand) will improve the quality of life 10-fold.
That being said, Gujju cities actually resemble cities instead of overgrown villages. The quality of the midrise buildings in this video is very decent.
no ignorant man, it was deliberately done through a govt sponsored economist called Raj Krishna just to make sure public rather than pointing fingers at congress govt feel ashamed of being Hindus and think this is because Hindus this dehumanising Hindus project started by brishits 100 years before partition and being continued still by their bastard child congress…‘It was 3% growth rate under Indira Gandhi which got it derogative name of Hindu rate of growth. India is indeed dirty, but its stupid to indulge in this video posting nonsense to prove how they're better. Unless you post videos of other cities/smaller ones there's no point in this convo. That india's disorder and dirtyness is not due to low income, its a cultural issue. Thats rare to be found in countries with low PCI.what’s stopping people to behave sensibly and responsibly, irrespective of they are rich orpor or populated or less populated?
it’s the culture. if we think it’s normal and live with that, India will continue as shythole like how it’s before and now.
Abdul, be more careful next time before exposing yourself like this.we compare ourselves with Pakistan and everything ends there, because we are slightly better.
