Tbh, Not every service has been 100% supportive of indigenous weopons but I generally consider IAF better than the Army in regards to indigenisation, the airforce has given orders of 100+ units of Tejas (Mk-1 & Mk-1a both, are committing to induct AMCA & Tejas Mk-2 in future etc). Navy is best in this regard like I already said in past. Not a fan of IA at all in regards to indigenisation.

The Navy is the best but the reason could be because they have their own design bureau & they don't depend on DRDO. Maybe DRDO should be merged into IA, and IAF respectively. The chief of army staff & the airforce should be held responsible for indigenization.

Reforms in officer cadre and their training are the need of time.

Pralay is the most recent iteration of this system. Have all modern tech present in it. But surprisingly Army sits on Prahaar for long time even though it cleared all trials. Army never shown interest in 150 km+ Rockets. This is the first time we are seeing some shift in this approach.

Don't know. During Theaterisation talks some articles suggest Rocket force should be similar in line with China.
