Pardon me being out of touch but doesn't it have a phased array radar? Why the rotating dome then?

the structure will have 3 equal sized active phased arrays in the following configuration.

As opposed to the distributed array on the older configuration or the newer one.

Or like the older E-3 sentry with the roatating AN/APY-2 radar.

Since its going to be the eye in the sky, maybe a Sanskrit word for something like that. Sanskrit word for Hawk (Baaz) would be good as it has a good eyesight. But then we already have a Baaz in the MiG 29.
