That is SOP, VDG are to be the first responders on contact, Army & Police will back them up. Unfortunately this time terrorists got better of VDG as escaped.

VDG should be armed with SLR and a basic comm. like walkie-talkies at least.

i doubt its SOP for them to go on search party looking for terrorists .
