I’d like it to be one sided. Truth be told, PAFF does not hold the same level of fear as terrorists did of paras in the 90s. these little attacks and ambushes are emboldening them to do more and more things. Army has to cross strike the LoC, else it will begin to enter a tactical disadvantage, which says a lot considering there are only 200 militants in kashmir active.

Exactly. People don’t understand, there is no timeline or initiation for these actions. They have happened on and on again. In mid 90s, starting with the Naga regiment up to 2003 ceasefire. Then in 2008. Then from 2011-2018, and now in 2023.

Beheading is fine.. It's been there. For as long as there as been conflict.. But, it's Pak Army heads that are needed.. Tango heads are fine.. but,IA heads need Pak Army heads in return..

We are in 2023 for godsake. We have engines like v6, v8 to produce crazy power output. We are coping for tech limitation as this was gtre kaveri.

Do civil servants, officers of other uniformed services enjoy the same privileges, sometimes more than serving defence officers or not?

If a jawan is detailed for orderly duties, he can choose to opt out. Officers are entitled to washerman, sweeper privileges. Which senior officer class doesn't get this? Maybe railways don't because they don't have that culture. Civil services, CAPFs have all of these for officers in the GO(Gazetted Officer) category.

If those men feel so slighted working in homes of officers, they have an option to opt out.

Railways had an clerk which was a glorified file pushing/servant work. GOI removed in NDA 1. Some musings from Bhavan, but quickly shutdown.
