Idk. Even last year it wasn’t this quiet. There were still weekly encounters until the ambushes.

Are the PAFF biding their time? Or have they all run away and they are struggling to come back?

If this peace continues to the year it may be the end of the insurgency.

Few things come to my mind but most probably -

• Pakistan figured out no terrorist attack will dent Modi's image. Any terrorist attack now will result in another Balakot, perhaps of bigger intensity this time.
  
  
• Kashmiri locals are non-cooperative after news went out locals hepled terrorists & the PAPA2 treatment they got afterwards.

Because it is Ramadan and sulleh are fasting, wait for that crap to end and it will be back to square one.
