Better not to lose shit with paki 5th gen news... Rafale in its current form F3R & future evolution F4/F5 will take care of any current 5th generation fighter... & fyki Chinese 5th generation fighters are not on par with the Americans.
This is not how nation-state should work. When you are planning, plan for the worst-case scenario i.e your enemy is as potent as they advertise and not on some imaginary "hyperbole" that China's aerial platforms are not world class.
Dude China has been investing serious money into cutting edge R&D,whatever it cannot develop,it is stealing it from US and Europe. So it would be foolhardy to take their weapon systems lightly.

We should focus on bridging the technological gap b/w China, nothing else matters. Pakistan is now just an irritant, even if we take a few initial hits we can easily raze them to ground.
Paxtan has no future & has nothing to protect, it's a shithole that's limited to a few cities, the number you can count on your fingers(of a single hand?).

With our economy growing, hopefully we will shun our frugal methods also and focus on other areas which we can't do right now, for ex production & the economics related to it.
But at the end of day both north and west are likely to be saturated with same weaponry and same tech. So it won't be wise to take knee jerk decisions & miss the forest for the trees.

here's another way to look at it.

JeM or any other jihadi tanzeem need not be given the status of "enemy", they are what they are, they are foot soldiers of an enemy state to achieve political goals. we don't need to give these foot soldiers the status of an "enemy", they are cannon fodder for their masters after all. one thing is for sure, none of those who participated in this ambush is going to die a natural death, none of those who facilitated these cannon fodder in precipitating this ambush is going to live peacefully for rest of their lives inspite of bravado they might be exhibiting in front of their near and dear.

as far as act of ambush itself, desperate times call for desperate measures. it was an act of desperation by these cannon fodder's masters, they are afraid their decades of efforts in building up notoriety may go down the drain. they are desperate, hence the ambush hoping to prevent their own irrelevance. after all some of them up the chain of command made careers out of this, they will be unwilling to let go of their golden goose. no one likes irrelevance.

as far as the real enemy is concerned, data shows that ever since they adopted jihad to wage war against the Indian state in late 80's, they have done more damage to themselves starting with that sipah-e-sahaba bomb blast. it's been down hill ever since. the more they keep at it, the more compounding of cost they will be paying internally even without intervention of Indian state.

If Indian soldiers get killed on the LOC, it will be reported.. So, looks like PAFF snipers have not scored a kill yet when targetting IA posts..
i dont think this is PAFF , this is regular pak army chutiyaness . looks like they shot him in leg on purpose .

with election comming , government is too sensitive . have a feeling we will see some escalation from PLA and Pak army at same time . something big but not a war .

Yes you are correct but they still are the extension of the enemy, it is still waging a war against India and they need to be observed and studied and destroyed. We shouldn't be afraid to discuss important things however uncomfortable the truth is because these things come to a point only because we have been ignoring a situation and the enemy utilized it. Just be mindful of whats being posted because we have to understand the Jihadi mindset as well which I agree is all about these little victories.

The problem I have observed always arises when we overhype our own situation and then get frustrated when the bubble gets burst and then go on a barrage of rage posting and again this is completely normal for people to behave like this.

Analysis of the situation like you did is important on each situation and I hope all members try to be without bringing in personal insults or egos in the way.

End of the day we can say we want this and that but ground realities might be different and if we are able to understand that, only then we can really bring in or influence some changes which can reach a wider audience and in someway seep through the people who can bring changes or even a mindset shift or awareness.

PAFF means business. Strong words coming from them.

Will say i am impressed with how bold they have become. Cannot say i haven’t predicted this. These little ambush attacks keeps emboldening them on more and more.
