used to be pretty common view for me in past where i lived, there was a row of Ashoka trees in garden of my neighbour and on those lived many of these Flying Foxes on them ( we call them "Vadvagol" or "Vadvanglu" in Gujarati), going away everyday morning and coming back at evening to rest
