Every operational military radar has a LPI capability. The degree of LPI varies with the quality of antenna and the power of it's side lobes not to mention ECCM capabilities and good processing speed. Now the Bars claims a noise reduction in the order of 3dB. This is quite close to the American AESAs as well. So, expect the Bars to have a capable LPI. Even the side lobes on Bars are quite small as compared to regular radars.Well you have grossly misunderstood his post. He was not against Tejas...but he was against rushing LCA into operation.... MiGs can carry PESA/AESA radars....but it's avionics must support it.
And AESA is not God-Sent, only AESA with LPI cannot be jammed. Older AESA can be jammed.
All radars can be jammed. It's just that the degree of jamming along with power required which will be difficult to achieve.
