Well you have grossly misunderstood his post. He was not against Tejas...but he was against rushing LCA into operation.... MiGs can carry PESA/AESA radars....but it's avionics must support it.

And AESA is not God-Sent, only AESA with LPI cannot be jammed. Older AESA can be jammed.
Every operational military radar has a LPI capability. The degree of LPI varies with the quality of antenna and the power of it's side lobes not to mention ECCM capabilities and good processing speed. Now the Bars claims a noise reduction in the order of 3dB. This is quite close to the American AESAs as well. So, expect the Bars to have a capable LPI. Even the side lobes on Bars are quite small as compared to regular radars.

All radars can be jammed. It's just that the degree of jamming along with power required which will be difficult to achieve.

Well but if the jamming is in the frequency range then it is possible to jam even an AESA radar just like the Growlers did with the F 22.

We have no idea how the Growlers managed to jam the F-22. But yeah, the concept is the same. Find the frequency range and bandwidth it is operating in and send in a lot of noisy signals. But if my onboard computer is so fast that it can process all the related and unrelated emissions quickly then there is always the possibility of nullifying the jamming. So expect the Growler to carry superior computers and avionics as compared to the F-22. F-22 cannot jam anyways.

Jamming the entire spectrum and still able to operate is what the Growler does. Perhaps it releases some of the bandwidth for it's own radar emissions before switching to another frequency.

EW is fvking awesome and the Americans are the king of the hill.

Yes EW is AWESOME but we also need to take into considereation the power tha is being supplied to the EW suit. The MAYAWI seems to be a very good platform for us to build upon and the Israelis have already started integrating it's components into it. Remeber the Syrian Fiasco where the Syrian radars couldn't pick up the Israeli F 16s who were flying circles on their GCI.

MiG-29 upgrade features Thales TopSight-E and Sagem INS...

The modernization of MiG-29 equipped with an advanced avionics, unified with the same set of naval destroyers MiG-29K/KUB Indian Navy. The composition of the onboard equipment upgraded MiG-29 entered the modern systems of Indian corporations, "HAL" and "Bharat Dynamics Limited. It also uses the systems and devices produced in France.

Old news mate. The Topsight was already chosen at pretty much the same time as it was for LCA and I guess it will be part of MKI's MLU.
