Their country was one bad year away from total chaos and they have no military to control the population unlike Pakistan. Basically things are getting difficult for the country each passing day and that it's chance of failure was far greater than Pakistan.

Having been to both Bangladesh and Pak, I would say it may be true to some extent. Pakistan may countinue to be a country in any form whatsoever for the next couple of centuries but not Bangladesh. They don't have more than a couple of decades before descending into chaos. Bangladesh doesnt have a lot going for it. It isn't minerally rich, no strong military, growing religious extremism, extremely small country, no innovation among other things.
