New Delhi: Amid violence in Haryana over conviction of self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a rape case, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said "Those who take the law in their hands or take to violence will not be spared, no matter who they are."

On his monthly radio programme Mann ki Baat, PM Modi said "India is the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Buddha. Violence is not acceptable in the nation, in any form."

"On one hand we await our festivals but on the other hand, when we hear about instances of violence, it is natural to be worried," he said in oblique reference to the Haryana violence.

ye gandhi se kya itna obsession hai?! now when half the population knows well about him, whats the need of carrying on drubbing us with this name? dont need this reverence for optics anymore!

BTW, because 'yeah! gandhi!', so either of the two parties, protesters or police, should've simply allowed sacrificing self at the hands of the other, so that we could have then "ushered in a new era of Hindustan!"

हाईकोर्ट ने सरकार से पूछा कि किन अफसरों ने गलत सूचना दी थी, किन अफसरों ने गुमराह किया, उनके नाम बताएं जाएं। हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि उपद्रव में हुए नुकसान की भरपाई डेरा सच्चा सौदा करेगा। इसके लिए राम रहीम की संपत्ति को कब्जे में लिया जाए। सभी संपत्ति को सील किया जाए और अगले आदेश तक बेची नहीं जा सकेगी। अब मंगलवार को मामले में दोबारा सुनवाई होगी।

BJP and Congress are like a schism in one ideology. They basically agree with all the Gandhian nonsense but differ in how it should be implemented. They have different patron saints, Nehru for Congress, Patel for BJP, but they all follow the same prophet MK Gandhi.

BJP and Congress are like a schism in one ideology. They basically agree with all the Gandhian nonsense but differ in how it should be implemented. They have different patron saints, Nehru for Congress, Patel for BJP, but they all follow the same prophet MK Gandhi.

Actually Gandhi hijacked that ideology and modded it to suit then British agenda. His special affection to Muslim league completely destroyed Tilak legacy.

When you follow Tilak and MM Malviya, it will definitely appear like Congress ideology. Because in a way they originated from same parent.
