1. Houthis fought with ksa - presently they are engaged in chai biscoot.
2. UAE seems to be the only one nation still taking or willing to take some kinetic action.
3. Unkle shyam had ran ops there and seems not inclined too much to attack as withdrawing from Yemen was bedoin chachas poll promise.
4.To Persians they are a proxy.
5. Chicomese are there for long to safeguard their interest.
6.Greater naval powers and larger economies than us will be affected by the current situation and they will handle it for their own security and prosperity.

So let us concentrate on our preparedness to the events, wether we had factored in such an event and taken preventive action.

Did we send out the message that we are not that naive and innocent kid who can be bullied by anyone.

Detterence.

Accidentally? Highly doubt.
Exactly, their attacks at Israeli embassy weren't accidental

They've gauged the response of Indian govt on this to be mild and tempered, and they are confident they can get away with it. The only problem is this incident has the potential to incur a huge financial cost to India in terms of energy and logistics cost (and btw most of the freight insurance companies are American who'll be salivating at the prospects)
I fail to understand why would they want to take beef with us ? That too by directly attacking our interests ? Not a wise thing to do honestly. Not only we are their ally, but we have long-standing relations & interests with them.

NATO is already pretty pissed at them. Pissing us off by harming our maritime interests, bombing our embassy will get them 100+ BrahMos™ arriving at their doorsteps in no time with the blessings of Uncle Sam.

one-way attack drone fired from Iran.” pentagons statement.

drone part we have almost agreed to now we are investigating the attack vector.

The Persians and Turks are talking.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...lks-focused-gaza-turkish-official-2023-12-26/

turkey are the ones most opposed to India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and have publicly spoken agains it.

"Turkey pushes $25bn Iraq transport route over India-Europe corridor
Minister says Israel-Hamas war shows 'security problems' with plan hatched at G20"

Now many said "shyam kaka satiya gaya hai" , when he listed imec as one of the causes of heightened tensions in the region.

"Turkey, seen as a natural bridge between Asia and Europe, is perhaps one of the most sensitive countries to changes in trade routes, as Ottomans bitterly experienced during the Age of Discovery."

Mullahs are stupid bitches who don't think rationally?

Their interests to rake up tensions in the Gulf trade, at the behest of DragonBear blessings, supercede that of maintaining relationship with India where the trade is pretty low anyway and no oil is sold?

And they know that the moment is opportune as the Sauds and Emiratis won't pound the Houthis now, or they'll be seen 'aiding' the Zionists and attacking the 'soldiers of the Muslim world'. Turkey-Iran in a tag-team against the Saudis and Emiratis to wrestle away the leadership of "Ummah" is a repetitive theme now.

All these trump their interests to maintain relationship with India. That India-Russia north south corridor sounds an impractical idea from the very inception (so many different kind of material handling makes logistics a nightmare)

"Described as Biden’s alternative to China’s Belt and Road Initiative — Beijing’s multinational infrastructure and trade project — the West hopes IMEC can limit China’s rising geopolitical influence."

"As a transcontinental maritime and railway network transporting not just goods but also energy and data through pipelines and cables, IMEC would connect the Indian coast to European markets. It would do this via a shipping route to the United Arab Emirates, which then runs overland through a rail network to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, after which goods would be loaded onto ships to cross the Mediterranean and dock in Greece."

Lo ek aur trade corridor - INSTC corridor.

Initiated in 2000s maybe dreamt in 90s , roos didn't give two hoots abt it when it was cozying upto fellow goras.

Now when the fellow goras have made it clear that they don't consider roosis as an equal gora, they have dusted up the old plan.

Interestingly turkey and Persia are members in INSTC.

However either imec or instc or both Bharath should welcome them.

However "the galaxy leader incident" or "the mv chem Pluto incident" as it will be known, should have waken our safedposh afsaran from their slumber.

Instead of a late reactionary force they should have planned a preventive strategy.

It wasn't rocket science to guess that drones may strike 200 nm near Indian shipping lines. What was our strategy.

Wether imes or instc we will be exposed to such action, so we should have a strategy in place

"European governments are very worried that part of their potential electorate will turn against them" - why chota goras are not publicly supporting bada goras op prosperity guardian. But if fuel ships are attacked anymore, by Jan end Feb . Goraland will feel the pinch of price rise.

After reading the entire article it seems more like few want to be under a US command rather than any electorate pressure . Especially the IN .
