Pakistan against US drone deal with India: FO

The Foreign Office on Friday sounded its opposition to a United States (US) plan to sell drones to India, and called on global powers to exercise more "international responsibility" before committing to such agreements.

US President Donald Trump had approved a $2 billion deal for the sale of unarmed surveillance drones in the run-up to his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June this year. The deal is subject to approval by the US Congress.

FO Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said the balance of power in the region would be disrupted because of the deal, and that providing sensitive military technology to India was akin to incitement of its 'misadventures'.

"Global powers should be aware of their international responsibilities before making such agreements," he said, adding that international agreements, regulations and treaties should be considered before providing India any such technology.

The FO also said that all civil nuclear technology agreements should be governed by rules of nuclear non-proliferation.

India, deviating from international rules, can use nuclear technology for military use instead of civil use, the FO claimed, adding that because of the Nuclear Suppliers Group's (NSG) loosening of restrictions in 2008, India is running three parallel nuclear programmes.

The NSG is a 48-nation club dedicated to curbing nuclear arms proliferation by controlling the export and re-transfer of materials that could foster nuclear weapons development.

The group's membership has signed the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty but India has refused to do so.

The FO also said permission should not be granted for the construction of nuclear facilities that do not meet International Atomic Energy Agency safety standards.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in his visit to Pakistan called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and discussed bilateral and regional issues, the FO said.

"There was a desire on both sides to strengthen relations based on better understanding of each other’s concerns and interests and cooperation in diverse fields," Zakaria said.

He said Tillerson was apprised of India's alleged involvement in terrorism in Pakistan. The FO spokesman said New Delhi assists terrorists, including the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan among other militant groups.

He claimed that Indian agencies use Afghan soil against Pakistan.

Tillerson was also informed about Pakistan’s counter-terrorism operations and successes, he said, adding that the US official acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution and sacrifices in the fight against terrorists and the country’s strategic and economic importance in the region.

Zakaria also introduced the incoming FO spokesman, Dr Muhammad Faisal, who currently holds the post of Director General South Asian affairs at the FO.
Bloody losers!! Who the heck are these Pakis to order the US to stop selling arms to India? No one cares a fig for them. And they have the audacity of reminding other countries to be 'responsible nations' and not provide sensitive equipment to India. Really? How about the huge Chinese nuke arsenal and North Korean missiles they have acquired surreptitiously?

And what do these yahoos mean by 'balance of power'? What balance? They are nowhere on the scene. India is miles ahead with the fourth most powerful armed forces in the world whereas they don't even figure in the first 12!!

These idiots should shit the fuk up and stop making asses of themselves.

US favouring India, has bias against us: Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistan has complained to the US for discriminating between Pakistan and India in the region, officials said.

Earlier, secretary of state Rex Tillerson’s demonstrated loving gestures in New Delhi and announced to work together in Afghanistan days after somber meetings in Islamabad where he told the civil and military leadership that the new policy of President Donald Trump on Afghanistan — supporting a greater role for India — will not be changed and Islamabad has to accept this reality.

The highly warm meetings in New Delhi after dead-cold interactions in Islamabad jolted the diplomatic corps who are now active to control the damage, senior officials at the foreign ministry said.

The officials said Islamabad had launched a diplomatic campaign to counter “US-India nexus” which could prove ‘lethal’ for Pakistan. The officials said that Pakistan was in contact with the US and other influential countries with a one-point agenda to highlight Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terror.

One official said: “Our diplomats were in contact with the US counterparts and repeated Pakistan’s stance that more involvement of India in Afghanistan could be risky for Pakistan. We are hoping a middle way out. We have complained about discrimination and told them that loving India and pressing Pakistan is not the best policy.”

Another official added: “There have been contacts with the United Kingdom and the European countries to tell them that we are not with the terrorists but against them.”

Mr Tillerson was in Pakistan this week and had a joint meeting with the civil and the military leadership. He made it clear that Trump’s new Afghanistan policy will not be changed on the demand of Pakistan. He emphasized India’s role for Afghanistan peace – a strategy contested by Pakistan.

Mr Trump had earlier accused Pakistan of protecting terrorists who were threatening peace in Afghanistan. Meanwhile Foreign Minister Khawaja Mohammed Asif said that US security “failures” in Afghanistan were evident from events of the week when Rex Tillerson could not move out of a US military base and invited Afghan leaders to his “bunker” for talks.

“This situation tells the whole story of US failures, despite fighting in the country for 16 years,” Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif told National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.

He maintained that Pakistan was seeking transparent relations on “equal terms” with the United States and is ready to offer its full cooperation in fighting terrorism, but “without compromising its sovereignty” and scape-goating Islamabad would not be acceptable.

Mr Asif further said the decrease in drone attacks in the past few years showed that there were no more safe havens for the terrorists in Pakistan.

He shared a chart of drone attacks carried out in the last 12 years from 2005 till Oct 15, 2017, in Pakistan. He later tweeted: “12yrs drone attacks chart. If we have sanctuaries why frequency is sharply down. The US won’t hesitate attacking funeral, weddings to get targets.”

The minister said since 2013 there had been just 65 drone attacks in Pakistan, and 2010 being the year when the pilotless planes attacked 90 times, the highest in 12 years.

In 2013, there were 24 drone strikes; in 2014, 19; in 2015, 14; in 2016, 03 and in the 10 months this year, 05 attacks took place, shows the chart shared by the foreign minister.

Pakis are not just FAKE Muslims but FAKE humans... they are subhumans and even Saudis treat them as slaves.
But they feel proud in being slave of Arabs. I heard one TV discussion in which they were taking pride in Their Ex army chief Zahil seating beside some Arab Prince.

Pakistan Says It's Ready to Use Nuclear Weapons

https://scout.com/military/warrior/Article/Pakistan-Says-Its-Ready-to-Use-Nuclear-WeaponsShould-India-Worry-109876924

Appearing on the Pakistani television channel “Geo,” Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asifsaid that[3]Islamabad is willing to use nuclear weapons to ensure its survival.

“We should pray that such an option never arises, but if we need to use them (nuclear weapons) for our survival we will,” Asif said, according to Geo’s website. His remark was widely reported by Indian media outlets.
Where Pakistan is concerned, logic always goes flying out of the window.

For last few days, they had not issued any warning of using Nuke bomb so this warning was highly due. Earlier, they used issue warning every alternate day. After statement of IAF Chief, frequency of warning has reduced.

I do give a damn about their rhetoric. What amuses me the most is their level of stupidity. They have at least achieved pinnacle of that. Who does use Nuclear weapon for survival.

http://www.republicworld.com/s/1103...f-free-balochistan-posters-pak-defence-expert

Pakistan defence expert has suggested that the country should consider creating gangs of terrorists and separatists to dismember the United Kingdom and Switzerland for allowing the flagging of ' Free Balochistan ' posters.

"In retaliation, Should Pakistan also create terrorist/separatist gangs in Pakistan who should work to destroy/dismember UK & Switzerland? (sic)," Zaid Hamid, a Pakistani political commentator and defence expert, said in a tweet.

He alleged that the UK was hosting the biggest terror network against Pakistan.

"UK is hosting the biggest terror network operating against Pakistan. Altaf Hussain is a British citizen & mass murderer under UK protection," Hamid tweeted.

Hamid's reaction came after London taxis with the words ' Free Balochistan ' written on both sides were seen plying outside Buckingham Palace in what can be called as a new push by overseas Baloch groups to attract global attention to their cause for independence from Pakistan.

'Free Balochistan' posters embossed on several vehicles running on the road were seen in London this week to highlight human rights violations in Balochistan province.

Pakistan on Friday summoned British High Commissioner Thomas Drew over the emergence of 'Free Balochistan' posters, which it said directly attacked its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

A Baloch activist said that Pakistan's reaction over the posters is testimony to its suppressive nature, and its aggression to try to curb their rights in the UK.

"Pakistan's reaction is testimony to its suppressive nature, aggressively trying to curb our rights in UK, imagine the situation in Balochistan," Bhawal Mengal? said in a tweet.

Earlier, similar posters featuring 'Free Balochistan' had appeared in Geneva, including on the side of buses, demanding freedom for the separatist Balochistan region of south-west Pakistan.

Pakistan had at that time also summoned Switzerland's envoy over the display of such posters in Geneva.

The World Baloch Organisation (WBO) had organised a protest in September in front of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva to raise awareness of human rights violations in Balochistan.

Human rights activists, Baloch representatives and allies of the Baloch cause came together during the 36th Session of the UNHRC to protest against gross human rights violations inflicted upon indigenous Baloch people.

For decades in Balochistan, economic exploitation through the plundering of natural resources, and the systematic economic, social and political exclusion of indigenous Baloch people, has become the norm.

In addition to this, enforced disappearances, extra-judicial killings and an escalating crackdown on freedom of expression are used as covert tools to brutally repress the Baloch peaceful struggle for justice, rights and equality.

Since the construction of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)has begun, the Baloch have been forcefully cleared, enforcedly disappeared and effectively excluded from the project at all levels - despite plentiful promises made by the Pakistani authorities of development and employment.

What did the passengers do?
However, the passengers turned down the offer and refused to leave the plane. Following which the airline staffers switched off the plane's air conditioning system, resulting in suffocation of passengers, including minors, in the plane.

How far is Point A from Point B?
The approximate distance from Lahore to Rahim Yar Khan is 624.5 km.

Every thing is going down in Pakistan, after that Chinese will take over them in the guise of private companies.
