They shifted the capital because their balls that is Karachi would be in the IN's white-gloved hands to squeeze.To begin with someone go on twitter & kick that joker - Gems of Engineering's arse. There was NO Islambarbad at the time of partition.
Karachi was the capital. Islambarbad didn't come into existence till the 1960s.
It was only after the planned city Islambarbad came into existence that the capital was shifted there.
Instead in Islum-abad their balls are in the hands of GHQ to squeeze since Rawalpindi is literally on the other side, like how Mohali and Chandigarh are.
