At the start of the WC, no one expected them to do anything noteworthy. Most people felt they wouldn't even get through to the QFs. They pulled off 7 consecutive wins, which was completely above expectations.
And winning/losing is part of sports. So what if Australia has the population of TN? At the end of the day, you have just 11 players. Whether its a TN team or Australian team, there will be 11 players in the team, and either of them can win/lose depending on a variety of factors.
If you start behaving cranky and whiny like Times Now each time there is a loss, you're a sore loser, nothing less. Australia was a better team today and they won. If you expect a team - any team - to win every single match, you are no better than Pakis who break their TV sets en masse when they lose matches.
