NATO: Russia’s ‘Safe and Professional’ Interception Was ‘Highly Provocative’
Another Russian provocation off the coast of Russia

RI Staff | Sat, May 13, 2017 | [SOURCE]

As a US spy plane was “routinely” spying on Russia from the Black Sea Russians staged a heinous provocation. Radio Free Europe with the details:

A Russian military jet came within about 20 feet of a U.S. Navy Poseidon surveillance plane while it was flying in international air space over the Black Sea near Crimea, the Pentagon said on May 12.

The Russian jet was armed with six air-to-air missiles, making this episode “highly provocative,” one official said, as it is very rare for a Russian jet to intercept a U.S. aircraft while visibly armed.

Otherwise, the encounter was “safe and professional,” the Pentagon said.

The Russian interception, off the coast of Russia, was “safe and professional,” but it was “highly provocative” because Russians at other times have not been visibly armed.

Got it.

Because Russians sometimes intercept US aircraft without being ‘visibly armed’ they now have to do so every time, or else Pentagon will scream provocation.

PS.: A Sukhoi Su-27, like many US fighters, comes with an integrated auto-cannon. There is no such thing as an unarmed Su-27.

Ukrainians Can Now Travel to EU Visa-Free, But Only as Tourists
Tourists welcome. Workers not so much

RI Staff | Fri, May 12, 2017 | [SOURCE]

Euromaidan -- totally worth it

Good news. Three years and a half after Ukraine tore itself apart to please the EU the latter has finally thrown a bone its way. Ukrainians may now travel to EU visa-free.

As long as they own a biometric passport and won’t stay longer than 90 days. In other words, as long as they’re traveling as tourists wanting to spend money in the EU, rather than as workers trying to earn it.

Maidan civil war? Totally worth it!

Radio Free Europe:

European Union member states endorsed visa liberalization for Ukraine on May 11, clearing the final hurdle for Ukrainian citizens to travel to the EU’s Schengen Area without a visa.

Representatives of the European Council and the European Parliament are now expected to rubber-stamp the decision in Strasbourg on May 17, with the visa-free regime due to enter into force on June 11.

The decision will apply to all Ukrainian citizens who have biometric passports. They will be able to enter all EU member states apart from Ireland and the United Kingdom for up to 90 days during any 180-day period.

It also applies to the four Schengen-area countries that are not in the EU: Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.

Commentary: Whatever happened to the “European Dream” that the Ukrops were so eager about? Whatever happened to their “European Choice” for which they jumped like monkeys and accused anyone not jumping of being a “Moskal?” I hope the Ukrops realize that shelling civilians villages, drawing Swastika tattoos all over the body, selling tomatoes at the Polish border, and tossing Molotov cocktails will neither endear them to Europe, not bring them any prosperity. It is time to realize what a self serving vermin Frau Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkelovskaya is.

No, not bad at all - for the EU that is. Rich Ukrainian oligarchs will go to Europe and spend money there. Ordinary Ukrainians will benefit nothing from it.

Is this the best Chocolatashenko could achieve after showing that passport magic trick?

$ 250 for a trip to Bulgaria for 4 days, not hard to find. From Kiev when traveling to Odessa to spend more.:rofl:
The thing you don't get is that when you visit Kiev, you spend your money within Ukraine. When you visit Bulgaria, you spend your money in Bulgaria.

You can't afford it. You are neck deep in debt and technically already bankrupt, save for the violation of IMF rules by the Western backers which gave you a lifeline.

Udhari ke paise mein fukrapanti.

Ask some Indian to translate this for you.
