You are relying on past spending power of the CCP. This is coming to an end as the Ponzi schemes go bust. The future of China as a spending power is gone. So, questions such as whether can China spend enough to sustain volume production of defense assets is very relevant. The myth of China’s spending power has been debunked 100%. Meanwhile western tech like Starlink, Smartphones, EVs, Education, Healthcare, AI etc are penetrating the world even more.
In my opinion we are living a globalized time period but with multipolar development

For example I think eventually India will also develop an aircraft industry capable to Challenge Boeing, UAC, Comac or Airbus, but since we also live in a multipolar world, other nation will also advance.

Saras is only the start of things to come by India

I mean the clusters are not pure, every one is making business with every one and advances are in many core nations but as well smaller nations are developing industries.

I mean most of aviation problems is money, but India has a potential big market that basically rivals China, Europe or the USA, joint venture and international programs are more for smaller nations such Airbus shows.

China is following a soviet style market still relies in Chinese government purchases for buying their own aircraft made by the chinese government owned aircraft manufactures, it is not the best way of making money for sure

The jet engines make up 40% of the value of a plane. I am unsure how much value all the other western parts make up in an air plane. Let’s say another 20-30%. So, the west would lose 30% of market by value not the entire value as this useless article claims which is just an alarmist report to get these companies to provide more jobs in the west.
That's why China is making cj1000 cj2000...

And if u don't control the capital, brand, IP of an engine. The 40% of value still not urs, even u have 10000 people working there. I can see Indian members don't feel that proud there are so many mobile factories in India and desperatedly to own ur own brand. Been a factory is not a bad business but nothing to be proud of, same applys to engine business.

the chinese government spends money in both J-20 and ARJ-21 that never makes money back . The engines you mention are paper engines now, plus one is competing versus the Russian PD-35

he means at the rate the chinese government spends is not sustainable, since J-20 can only make money indirectly if China takes over Taiwan and then gets all the electronics industry chip makers, but that will not be easy.

ARJ-21 is a failure just bought by the same manufacturer

Embraer's Phenom 300 has been positioned for the eleventh consecutive year as the best-selling light aircraft in the world, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

To achieve this milestone, Embraer delivered 59 Phenom 300 series light jets in 2022 and to date has accumulated more than 700 deliveries.

The Phenom 300 is in operation in 36 countries and has accumulated nearly 1,800,000 flight hours, underscoring the company's reputation for safety, quality, continuous aircraft improvement and innovation, with best-in-class capabilities. class, such as range, speed, cabin pressurization and industry-first technology.

"It's no coincidence that the Phenom 300 is once again the best-selling light aircraft in the industry. For 11 consecutive years, it has continued its strong market momentum and outperformed our loyal customers, whether through improved range and speed in its class, or offering the highest residual value of any aircraft on the market,” said Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets.

The new upgraded Phenom 300E is capable of reaching Mach 0.80, making it the fastest single-pilot jet in production, and capable of high-speed cruising of 464 knots and a five-occupant range of 2,010 nautical miles (about 3,724 km). ) with NBAA IFR reserves.

Embraer relies in a product with quality and customers other than the Brazilian government, civil aviation relies in safety and good price things ARJ-21 still lacks and J-20 is a military jet where safety standards are still lower than civil aviation

Phenom has been sold to 36 countries while crappy ARJ-21 is only bought in China mostly by the same people that make it a big subside that is money does not come back and with lower price that reduces profit

Brazil’s national statistics institute said in July 2022 that Brazil had lost 1 million industrial jobs over the prior decade, a decline of 11.6%. The institute said in 2021 that the country’s industrial sector represented 18.9% of Brazil’s GDP, down from 38% three decades earlier.

It's not about poverty it's about de industrilization of S.America.

U don't have strong industrilazation, u don't have strong export, ur currency is weak,

finally u cant even export banana:

.

don't forget:

Argentina decided to ban several beef cuts from export until the end of 2023. The Argentine government altered a previous ban to place an export ban on roughly 23% to 25% of the country's total beef production.
