Kinetica-1 is a semi-private or semi-state-owned solid orbital launcher developed by space launch company CAS Space founded in 2018.

It has a payload capacity of 2 t to LEO or 1.5 t to SSO equivalent to ESA Vega-C rocket.

you can tell from the launch support system that it's not the same as those ordinary state-owned launchers.

Kinetica-1 is currently the largest Chinese solid launcher. But it will soon be eclipsed by the private Orienspace Gravity-1 rocket this year, which has a payload capacity of 6.5 t LEO.

For clarity, I'm not gonna list Kinetica-1 as a purely private launcher in the same way as Zhuque-2, Tianlong-2, Ceres-1 & Hyperbola-1.

It is reported Kinetica-1 and the state-owned sea-launch Smart Dragon-3 share the same origin.
