Four YY-20A tanker-transports landed at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX)!

That is a lot of refuellers and in an international civvy airport too! Might be a major exercise in the south. The Shandong carrier entered the Western Pacific so this could be related:

Z-20 has become a major component of China's helicopter fleet slotted between the bigger Z-8 and smaller Z-9 variants.

These are Air Force:

A Chinese J-16 fighter intercepts a US RC-135. Footage of Chinese fighter jets JH-7, J-11 and J-16 intercepting American reconnaissance aircraft in the East China and South China Seas has been published. There is nothing particularly interesting, except for the case when a Chinese fighter crosses the path of an American reconnaissance aircraft. Notice how the American RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft bounces when it hits the exhaust gases from the engine of a Chinese J-16 fighter.

The amount of intercepts and other interaction between Chinese and American aircraft are immensely high. There were 180 "risky" encounters just since Fall of 2021:

There should be over 300 J-16 variants:

by early 2023, about 270 J-16s and 30 J-16Ds have been delivered.

On J-20, most likely well over 200 in 2023:

China’s Chengdu Aircraft Corporation has now produced between 200 and 250 J-20 Mighty Dragon stealth fighters.

10 years ago, China ordered the only 24 Su35, and no more. Which means PLA is satisfied with J16, and lost interest on Su35.

Japan's Self Defense Forces are reporting that CV-17 Shandong is currently operating in the Western Pacific. Again.

Sortie rates are nearly 50 a day more than twice that of previous cruises:
