I've said this before: IQ testing is new age phrenology. It's a measure of classroom performance, popularized by eugenicists from Nazi Germany to justify ethnic cleansing. In this context, it indicates the level of westernization a country's education system is at. That some people, in all seriousness, think that a standardized test can measure something as vast, varied and abstract as human intelligence is only proof of their own lack of understanding (so much for the Chinese not seeking Western validation). You'd think Chinese nationalists would know history, of how the very eugenicists who advocated IQ testing justified the wiping out of people like the Han Chinese, but I guess that's above their pay grade.

Chinese have such low IQ that they don’t even know that IQ studies have been trashed all over the world. This is also reflected in the research papers they publish. 80% of their research is worthless, rehashed, tiny improvements published mostly in non-reputed journals. They just do these numbers game so they can show themselves as having surpassed the US. 90% of their research papers are garbage and many are outright plagiarism. Also, many are published by bribing editorial members which is a criminal offense.

It is all going to come crashing down as BYD’s frauds and low quality tech is discovered. We have seen Chinese companies surge ahead only to be discovered for accounting fraud and criminal conduct and delisted from stock exchanges.

Trade is used to facilitate things that makes your economy grow whether import or export. Trading nations tend to be wealthy. Non-trading nations tend to be much poorer.

If most of the money stays with the top 6 percent of the population, which is Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their families and friends in big cities, while the bottom 50 percent of the population remains below poverty or near poverty, it doesn't matter how great the GDP gets. Because then the future growth potential gets limited due to systematic inequities and deficiencies. The common Chinese are so downtrodden and pushed around by CCP and its police, that they often feel hopeless. This is the real reason why they have stopped having children. So while Chinese economy looks great on paper (also because of CCP fudged numbers about eliminating poverty etc), in reality the picture is quite bleak for the common Chinese person. And this does not even include the tens of millions of slaves and prisoners in concentration camps filled with minorities, political prisoners and unjustly imprisoned common Chinese people whose organs are harvested while they do forced labor for free.

CCP's military might is also overblown, but that is a discussion for another thread. For now, read the latest RAND report that discusses the major problems and corruption that exist in their military:

I don't believe in the racial DNA explanation for IQ but there is some evidence for cultural traits that lead to advantages in IQ tests. Sinosphere countries have traits that do well in Western designed intellectual tests.

The PISA scores are done mainly in developed and middle income countries. (Africa and India are not represented.)

But all the Sinosphere states -- China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Macau -- are in the top 10. Despite competing nearly exclusively against whites who are rumored to be the super race and who actually designed these tests! lol

in high value goods, Nothing home grown in China has ever sold in developed nations (as they are not cost conscious). And nothing ever will. In fact if you look at high end textiles in the US, most are made in India. Mahindra sells home grown tractors and cars in developed markets, successfully competing with established players. Chinese brands are nowhere. I definitely see Tata EV buses selling all over the world as they have mastered the entire EV ecosystem. And more…India’s companies already have the advantage of competing well in western markets and winning businesses there. Take the IT and pharmaceutical industry-we compete very very well in the west. Made in India generics are trusted in the west. Where are the Chinese? Nowhere.

The bottom line is if China were truly a world beater, they would have no problem having a relatively free media, individual (not group) tourism, welcoming scrutiny by international organization, transparent data, not buying articles in western publications, taking down the millions of surveillance cameras, controlling social media propaganda etc. The fact remains that a lot of Chinese systems are a failure and they have no option but to keep everything hidden from their masses and the outside world.

The number of cars sold in China is much higher than India which itself shows that an average Chinese earns and spends more than an average Indian
Their population is declining so much that Now they’re asking their people to produce more kids giving incentives to those who produce more kids still people don’t produce kids which again is a sign of prosperity
