Stretch his luck? Baku has all the advantages it needs to obliterate Armenia. Turks will keep supplying them with weapons and Azeris have the money to make that happen. The oil and gas revenues from the EU more than makeup for it. With Russia sanctioned, Azerbaijan has Europeans by their testicles.

Armenia had a 2023 budget of $2.09 billion while Azerbaijan had a budget of $3.9 billion. They don't need to even buy expensive stuff. Just thousands of loitering munitions and dozens of Bayraktars, while the existing artillery gives cover fire to the drone operators, is enough to crush Armenia.

It will only be a game changer if we step in and start supplying more destructive weapons. But there is nothing to strategically gain from spending to counter Azerbaijan so we won't. France needs oil and Baku has it. Armenia does not. Turkey is holding NATO for ransom so it will get away with everything it wants till Russia is cornering Ukraine.

I think the most probable step from Azerbaijan will be cutting down the southern portion of Armenia and connect their disjointed territory. Basically achieves the Pan turkic mullahwood.

Armenia has officially come out with a strategic procurement policy shift and named India and France as its future defence partners.

This has come out on multiple sources both Western and even Indian. Putin is going to be very upset, but considering how he ditched them twice, he should expect this. Ruskies won't mind them buying arms from us, but France and the US would be a big red flag.
