gurumurthy (Modis cheif economic guru) has already stated that its not the numbers that matter, but the quality of growth. according to him after demonetization there is going to be a good quality of growth. I guess Modi is going take a lead in developing s formula to quantify the growth Quality. No economist in the world has so far been able to measure the growth quality (they only measure growth quantity). I think this whole exercise to to show the public that western method of economic growth is complete crap and only vedic economic policies can save India going forward.

That hope dashed. Economic output already down. Whole black economy (which is also very productive) got hit. Economically I can guarantee there is no benefit out of this exercise. Waste of effort for nothing.

There are so many posts here talking about gain .. how much it has helped let's wait and let the audit happen.

I was more concerned about digital economy. But some one replied to my tweet that as the usage increases so will be the service charge per transaction will reduce. And that guy happens to be ex Raw chief Mr. Sood.

But how they are going to implement digital economy is doubtful. Though it is user friendly but there are two concerns
1) in Rural areas it feasibility of being implemented
2) time of total implementation.

are you really that innocent ? or simply pretending to be, who is going to pay the factory workers. and if factory workers do not get paid, would he/she work for free ? I have a friend in delhi who is involved in lighting business. he said his customer volume has dropped 75% since demonetization. they could not hold on to their workers as they could not pay them the salary. can you install PayTM machine in their factory soon ? this is the story going around everywhere. freight business has taken a big hit in India as truckers do not know how to pay for fuel. that would definitely cause GDP to shrink.

as per ndtv reports GOI has recovered 2600 crores so far as unaccounted money, that translates to around 650 million, where did you get your 30 billion figures from ?
