MASSIVE PAK ARMY BUILD-UP ALONG LOC, IB

An assessment of Pakistan’s military preparedness by the Defence establishment here suggests that the
Pakistan Army has withdrawn 30,000 regular troops from trouble-torn Waziristan and deployed them at the LoC. These are besides the 25 per cent of its ‘reserve’ forces that have already been deployed along the IB and the LoC.

Also, Pakistan has kept the 15,000 troops, raised especially to guard the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), in readiness even as the Pakistan Air Force has been put on high alert. It has even replaced the Pakistan Rangers at the IB with its regular Army troops. The Rangers are Pakistan’s equivalent of India’s paramilitary force Border Security Force and guards the IB.

I guess this movement of troops partly explains why there is no news in paki media about what is happening on their side for past 10 days or so. Military rule book is being followed on movement of troops.

By extending the same logic, this could also explain why Imraan Khan had to pull down his dharna.

Game might start soon. Yes War!

PA has even moved its reserves forward and deployed about 25% of them also. 30,000 troops from Waziristan are also being moved to PoK,it will fuel anarchy in FATA.

Indian Navy with over 40 ships and subs in North Arabian Sea And IAF deployed in full strength.

As per vstol jockey who is IN pilot from IDF,

"if we have a war this time, It will be a decisive war. Borders will be settled forever between, India & Pakistan which will be reduced to just Pak Punjab and few areas from KP. Durand line will be dissolved and Afghanistan of 1880 will be created with Wakhan corridor becoming a part of India Again. Sind will be part of Hind and Balochistan will be a free country protected by India just the way we protect Bhutan.

We have already moved all our strike formations forward and that's why PA has committed its Aea Reserve North also called Mangla Corp and Area Reserve South. We know their ORBAT and will teach them a lesson bigger than that of 1971.

Next war with Pakistan will not be fought by India alone. Afghanistan will also attack from other side to reclaim its areas ceded out under 100 year treaty which created Durand Line".

Indian forces inflict heavy damage on Pakistan after 2 jawans were martyred on LoC
  • 1

India has inflicted heavy damage to several military posts of Pakistan.

  • 2

Indian forces foiled two infiltration bids along the line of control.

  • 3

Two soldiers were killed in unprovoked firing by Pakistan.
Indian forces inflicted serious damage to several Pakistani military posts on Sunday in response to unprovoked firing from the other side. The army said that two infiltration bids were foiled along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati and Poonch sectors of Poonch district.

Two army jawans were killed and three others -- two soldiers and a woman -- were injured as Pakistani army opened fire in a bid to facilitate the infiltration bids.

The Indian army said that while the infiltration bids were foiled, it has also inflicted heavy damage to several Pakistani posts across the Line of Control in Poonch sector.

FIRING CONTINUES

The army said that unprovoked ceasefire violation in Poonch sector continued. "Our troops are responding befittingly, there has been heavy damage to Pakistan army posts," defence spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta said.

At least four places came under indiscriminate shelling and firing by Pakistani army targeting civil and defence facilities and civilian areas, the officer said.

"Unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan army in Poonch sector from 1015 hours using 120 mm mortars, 82 mm mortars and automatic weapons," the spokesman said.

He said the Indian army effectively and appropriately retaliated the fire using same calibre weapons, shelling and firing exchange was still on.

Its claimed as an official account...so there is a probability that its true..

The Baloch game is on anyway.. its 'pak soldier season ' and the season is open.

Cyril Almedia was never the hawkish guy. I'd be surprised if we hear from hard core like Mani Shankar and the likes ;-)
Considering this article. and since, this is Cyril Almeida. How many of us believe that pakistan actually understands Indian elections quite well?

Quote from article -: "the long-term presence of a right-winger in Delhi"

I think CFV and retributory FA is the new normal now. infact if they don't do CFV we should do it whenever tactically it is required for us in order to smash the terror launch pads.
Bakis should be made to realise that they have bloody no hope against us.
Infact that part is easy but the real objective of making CPEC nonviable should never be missed sight of. Strategically we cannot allow such a project that China gains foothold even on our western waters.
As long as we have this Gov I think things will keep moving in the right direction but if again in the next election another khichdi sarkar comes into being am sure we will get pushed back by another 10 yrs and for sure pakchin will do whatever they can to make this happen.

What's the end goal? They have plenty of these expendable militants who are willing to come fight India for 72 virgins and money. Troops are ready, public support is there, India should strike hard while the iron is hot after R. Sharif retires. Obviously full scale conflict is not on the cards, but using Air power and Navy, they should be made to bleed so hard that it will take them 50 years to recover the assets that they lose. I posted somewhere else that they lose a fraction of percentage of their GDP for every F16 that we crash, let's rub their nose in pee before we clean it up.

Anytime is right to strike hard when the iron is hard. R. Shareef before he retires will want to go out with a bang to redeem some of his tattered echh&dee. This is why we see a shift of tactics from ISI- from Field Marshal Shareef to quaid-e-momin siyasatdaan, hukmaraan Shareef. Gradually even the dimwitted Bakis are realising that Shareef is all hot air as a jarnail. They "acknowledge" his work in FATA and Karachi, but also see that he failed to measure up when it came to India. Raheel is desperate to redeem himself.

So how does he go about it? If he escalates, India will hit back disproportionately as we have wont to of late. If the situation spirals out of control then Rawheel will find himself juggling a hot potato that he cannot handle and it will truly expose whatever ecch&dee is left of him.

Being the coward that he is- like all those who rose to become the COAS of the terrorist napaki army (in TSPA only cowards rise to the top, the idiots are halaaled and declared shaheed, while the competent are either forcibly halaaled and declared shaheed or shunted aside)- the best outcome for him will be that the situation stays on a perpetual boil till he hands the baton to his successor and then it blows up immediately afterwards so that it will be the successor who'll face the music that will most certainly not be sufi or bhangra.

I suspect that he'll initiate something during the last days of his tenure, something that will take a few days to fully mature and blow up and by that time he would have retired and handed the baton to Hayat or one of the other clown commanders. he successor will be in the hot seat when Pakhana hits the fan. Rawheel will enjoy sipping scotch from the sidelines and offering "gratuitous" and "sage" "advice" to his successor, while smirking at the man's predicament.

Of course his forgets that his successor too is forged from the same stone- ek hi gandi naali ke keede hain or to paraphrase Kader Khan- makkari ki mitti se nikalne waale gadaari ke paudhe ke sadte hue phool hain.

So to assuage his echh&dee and get one up on his predecessor who left such a mess for him, he'll attempt something even more outrageous and outlandish.

This is where we must we be in a state of top readiness. Bakis are walking into a trap and hell bent on their destruction, we should encourage and facilitate them while keeping ourselves secure from the shenanigans of a pyromaniac.

The problem is what if the successor does not do anything and decides to continue the policy of a death by a thousand cuts. India will keep losing jawans one or two at a time for a few years until there is an event of Uri like magnitude all over again inevitably and by that time, the public has become comfortable and support for war has died down. I'm saying that India should give Pakistan every opportunity to hang itself if they want but in due time, if nothing happens India has to become the aggressor. The provocation and justification are already there in the form of Mumbai, Pathankit and now Uri and also the beheading of the soldier. aisa mauka hatth se nahi jane dena chahiye

What should be the next move if another terror strike or even evaded an attempt . Is it possible to grab imp posts along pok. Small steps in reciprocity with out escalating to conventional war. Hope bhesharem sharief deny news of no pak posts are occupied by Indian army in such case.

Can we occupy a spike of land along pok where the cpec connectivity passes through ?

I am not talking about full blown war because its always started by enemy.
