Well in high stress environments, like in counter terror operations, soilders tend to fire at any body part of terrorists, when fired with INSAS it does not kill, on non lethal parts, as INSAS is not design to do that. Also INSAS without full auto and non lethal blow on terrorist is not weapon...

In law and order for terrorist effected area, full auto with 7.62 is the requirement, as terrorist is ready to die and good terrorist is dead terrorist. For war fighting 5.56 is need with three bust shooting mode, for logistic issues.

INSAS bullet not meant to kill enemy. It is made with purpose to injure enemy. So its doing its job.

I think INSAS is decent rifle, we need to upgrade it, make it modern and work on making it lethal. I am sure this rifle can serve us for next 15 years with ease. For Counter terrorists use we have to make sure that INSAS rifle bullet will kill terrorist at the distance of 400 meters at one...

this gun was made from lighter titanium alloy. Why cant OFB make better light weight INSAS and other sister rifles from the same alloy? Lighter rifles are the need of the day.

idea is to save ammo that is why regular magazine.

everyone love X95 so do i, but anyone has care to check how much does it cost, small example is that scope for X95 cost 1400 USD. Just imagine what rifle along with scope cost.
