Whether DRDO will submit any design for this competition or not is irrelevant to me, all i care about is what companies/designs are participating in the competition. as per you FCS is an option, so be it. Maybe we can try and figure out what are the other possible contenders for this...

@Bhadra, all your points are noted i guess. But are the americans even submitting their designs in the contest. If not, then all your dreams are what they are. DREAMS is n't it?

For those who are under the assumption that every requirement should be spelt out in an RFI, there is always a meeting that is usually held in Delhi for clearing of any doubts regarding RFI. May be the details are discussed there with. Interested parties. In case if anybody is still doubtful...

Can somebody pull out RFI's for T-90, Tatra truck or any such vehicle inductions post Kargil. Comparing older RFI's with FRCV RFI should give an idea whether IA has changed it's thought process or not?

Going by RFI, since the last date is 31st july atleast by Aug/Sep we will know which companies have been shortlisted for design. Atleast that should narrow our guess work.
