Vikramaditya won't be upgraded with Barak-1, It will be upgraded with EL/M-2258 ALPHA radar along with Barak-8 missiles(when available). As of now it probably has Kashtan CIWS, if not then Ak-630 CIWS will be added in India soon.

Astra SAM will be comparable to VL-MICA as far as range is concerned. When used as SAM the range of all A2A missile decreases drastically, may be something to do with gravity.

Well, wiki lists India as a current operator of S-200 system. SIPRI shows that India bought a Big Back radar which replaced the older Tall King radar in late 80s along with two S-200 Angara system and 40 missiles all delivered in 1989. But I don't think they are in operation now.

@Kunal Biswas @p2prada AFAIK India bought some S-200 systems. Are they still operational? another thing, doesn't the IAF version of Barak-8 which is scheduled to be delivered in 2014 has a range of 120km making it a LR-SAM?
