Back here in India arms lobby backed media will flood pages with negative speculation, ultimately blaming Tejas and feeding it to target audience. It happens.

R-73 did failed to home into flare. Apparently seeker failed. But this is normal. Some missiles from lot are dud. It happens regularly, specially so if it is a Russian (not blaming them of course). Sadly fate picked one on this bright day to make it all so gloomy. Just hoping LGB made its mark...
