    TUrdogan has pumped the Defence budget by 150% . so this year istead of 16/20 , it will be 40B$. Thats equivalent to India increasing budget to 200B$.

    Isn't their TEI who is going to make the engine itself is a JV between TAI and GE. We know who is going to do the heavy lifting in that . Also Turdey getting foolproof IP rights will be another issue.

    Mid 40s for 6th gen. That's 23+ years from now . Between 2028-37 we will start to field Tejas Mk2 , TEDBF , AMCA mk1 sequentially. So for 6th gen AMCA we have good 20+ years years gap to build adaptive cycle engine by then in JV with Safran or alone. And decent 10 years gap between 5 and 6th...

    We gotta play the cards we are dealt. Xi is also bidding the time. He has decided to rule till he die. Their Fujian hasn't launched a jet yet . Might take 5-6 more years for becoming fully operational. Bigger one is under construction which won't be fully operational upto 2030.

    As our economy grows we should be planning to field at least 1- MK2 for 2 -J-10C China has. Although production has stopped ,yet they've build up fleet of 600 J10C. I can easily see MK2 numbers crossing 200+.

    The way CAS said in the interview , he meant that whole 180 combined would be worth of 1.15 lakh crore, means same 70-80M per jet with all logistics, as it was during 2021.

    If I understand correctly RTA is civillian aircraft project. It should be more aerodynamic lean airframe built from scratch. We just recently signed deal with Safran to codevelope 4000 hp engine.

    Indian R&D organisations have a lot to prove by strictly following the timeline of existing mega projects . Maybe order extra 100+ C295 and a dozen C130 as stop gap if we are thinking of building own MTA.
