Why sometimes I can't access DFI?

It seems sometimes forum is down, what is the reason? If something happens or everything runs normal, should there be announcement?

Well I too could not access it yesterday.IMO the DFI servers cannot handle so much traffic.As the members and posts keep on increasing the servers have difficulty in handling the site`s data.I do not think it was attacked but then again I am not 100% sure.Maybe the admin and mods can better answer this question.Ask yusuf or singh.

Maybe, but i have seen more traffic than this in DFI and the website still ran well.
