    ^^ A small correction.

Tamil Nadu is the second largest economy in India and not Uttar Pradesh.

The Hindu : States / Tamil Nadu : Tamil Nadu records 9.39 per cent growth rate

TN is the second largest by PPP not sure about Nominal economy

Edit. We are the second largest by PPP, not by nominal economy.

    Here:
By nominal economy, we are the fourth largest

By PPP we are the second largest

    Maharashtra's Economy is 16% of India's GDP. So Maharashtra's Economy = $320 Billion(Nominal).

By PPP 16%*4.34= $699 Billion PPP!
