    Why should we? Japan doesn't have leverage on us. It puts our people to work which is priority #1.

    France is a neutral country.

    Even when US was against us, it remained neutral and refused to put up with US, UK, Germany, Japan and the rest of the NATO country bandwagon who sanctioned India.

    So why will they listen to Japan?

    Neutrality must be honoured both ways.

    For violations of NPT/or probably MTCR, there were some restrictions/sanctions imposed on arms transfer to China, in mid-1990's, if I am not wrong.

    Have these sanctions been rescinded ?

    Really? It is just a landing system. It is not like we are selling them weapons. You would think they would be more concerned with Mistral going to Russia.
