Are these daewoo Trucks ?? Bought by tata
Daewoo tech is not soo new .... They have superior sheet metal finish however they have the same set of suppliers as others (ZF,Continental etc etc) Their program management is better though .... I also had the chance to go through DAIMLER's program management .... pretty awesome.

Well these TATA and leyland trucks become obsolete after 4 or 5 years service but the 1980s model soviet rrucks in army had been running in good condition ,insiders says aart from the defects caused by manhanding not even a sign of rust had been in those trucks.

:lol: The reason is "indian" manufacturing systems. I can't go into details but it's purely TATA's fault.

The Daewoo tech has come into the PRIMA range primarily, the Multi Axle range is a new product from scratch.

What mechanism does truck mounted arty employ to dampen the recoil? Are these guns made less powerful compared to field unit to reduce the shock? I am surprised that a commercial truck chassis can take the punishment for even a day.

Serious lack of spare and expensive to maintain, The reason why Army replacing these foreign trucks with Indian once on first place ..
