I do not metallurgist. They say it is better and cheaper. But armor steel is used only in light armored vehicles. The tanks used combined armor.
When bought the APCs Saxon, it has the same armor thickness as the BRDM. A test shoot showed that the bullet 7.62 B-32 does not pierce it, although the armor BRDM affected by it.

Do not forget that before the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the Russian army 6 years rearming, and for the Ukrainian army, all the years of independence is stolen.

I took just Moskow. None of the Russian citizens do not want to move from European part Russia to Siberia. Even the inhabitants of Murmansk.

And this automated system is GLOBAL.
This only example completely outclasses and outcasts Ukraine from Russia in technical meanings.
But there are much much more of them including completely unique technologies like GaN-based digital AESAs or so.

Price of this will be 0 (ZERO) troops, because nobody will fight like in 19 th century or rebels on Donbass.
There will be distant killing and destruction with ECM, RBMs, and cruise missiles. Then with air force. Ukraine needs only 50 key target to destroy to end its life as country or army force.
Ukrainian army cannot deal with local rebels - coal miners, workers and peasants. How can it fight Russian army if they will not even know what was flown from where and what did just kill them?
