If you want to buy a decent small arm need to set aside 3-4 lac, also keep in mind the money one needs to pay to get the permit. Shotgun and double barrel are easy to get but pistol, lots of chai pain even if they go by the book.

The price is almost the same as my phone lol, I think it is doable. In Manipur getting a shotgun permit is about 5k, bolt action about 30-40k but a pistol permit is quite high from what i hear.

I beg to differ unless their is a civilian market other than the military no point, the military will order 5-6 lac one type of weapon and use it for 30 years, what about the manufacture during that period? To keep the people employed there should be a continuous process. Hence, I told you most...

There are several reasons for this, but I believe it primarily stems from a lack of market demand. Recently, I came across a video discussing the oversaturation of the gun market, where even major players like Beretta are struggling, especially in the USA, despite it being the largest market...

The new gun is called Ugram and Dvipa Armour, I've never heard of it before tho. It was made using Austrian tooling and took only 100 days cause ARDe said the plan was already ready! So, it was just an ARDE gun made by a private company.

I like the feel of the wooden frame than a polymer one. Fired on a few occasions, if I have to choose I will get an old AKM and get kitted out not heavy stuff maybe a reflex sight.

I share the same sentiment with you, However, there is a BIG difference btw us and them. Our, Army if we want we can buy just about one of the best guns in the world, buying and production is another story. So, with exposure at such a level, the Army must be always in a conundrum btw the best...
