Not as well as a straight wing aircraft, but yes, a swept wing would do better than a delta wing.
If you observe acrobatics/aerobatics teams, an overwhelming majority of them use straight wing airplanes.
All the advocates of delta-wing aircraft for CAS need to see this.
General question to all: Any guesses why it could not pull off the loop? With canards, it should have been relatively easier.
