I find this thought process odd amongst our elite. We are proud that our Mig21 was able to cap an F-16 but try to ignore that a supposedly inferior aircraft can hit ours. Someone said Quantity has a quality all its own. That should never be ignored. The force we employ should be a mix of both...

Its not just a single size fits all product. It varies depending on the antenna size. The comparison may not be fair without it being put in same size, power constraints.

The one in Yamlur is big because its with the airport. The actual assembly line parts are not that big. The second plant is not that big either. Compare it with any big manufacturing unit. Check Kia's manufacturing plant. PS: Am also around in that area... we should meet up sometime!

FPGA's are very fast. When compared to CPU's FPGA's may fail when compared on cost... but not on speed. When compared to on thermal, ASIC performs better than FPGA which inturn is better than intensive CPU. Also for real time system, you don't really need a fast processor/hardware. Your system...
