We need to have an in-house expert on darra weapons here at DFI, someone who can spot these with one glance. Anybody interested in developing this skill set? And ammunition too, all ammo is colour coded(of sorts), will be able to find the orgin of ammo.

There are markers that differentiate within the teams. like the orange square on this troopers helmet. there is no permanent identifier as such within IA.

Original M4 costs more than 4 lakh in pak, even if smuggled from Afghanistan it would cost more than a copy. probability that it is a Peshawar copy is high..

This misidentification of Peshawar copies of M4 as originals need to be corrected perhaps.
