    After looking at how Delhi metro and Mumbai metro is being maintained well, I'm sure people will keep it clean. FYI. Bullet trains are chair cars. I haven't travelled in trains for a decade but If I am not wrong chair cars are usually better maintained because of the short travel times.

    Same thing was said about Delhi metro. By 2023, India will be 3+ trillion economy. Someday bullet train is bound to come in the country, more it is delayed the more the cost is going to increase.

    Regarding worst fear regarding bullet train is the tracks, especially tracks expansion and contraction due to temperature differentials here in India. Technology seems to have gone into train and signalling, tracks seem to be same old technology.

    Routes are debatable, but I don't think end-end distance cannot be less than 500-600 km. On the issue of pricing I think they probably follow dynamic pricing inline with airline ticketing. Let's wait and see , we might get more info from detailed project report.

    Because we don't have expertise on this subject and money is not an issue. This protocol of getting it done by foreign companies has been done in all greenfield projects. Delhi metro for example was a collaboration, but other metros are domestic.
