For me my most favorite Russian jet (going as far back as Soviet times) is the Mig-15:

One way of looking at it is, stealth is principally a US weapons system designed to defeat Soviet fighters from BVR. Then when the Soviets (now Russians) and the rest of the World finally catch up with stealth technology then the US will move the goal post further with the use of better sensors...

What? Stealth is not designed for dogfighting. It is designed to allow a warfighter to attack the enemy from BVR. In fact, stealth has little advantage in dogfights. As between stealth versus stealth, if they are evenly matched then they should negate each other's BVR advantage. But not all...

Look at the kind of rockets operating in the US, from SpaceX to Blue Origin, the next wave of space exploration has already begun, driven by private companies. Where is Russia? Still flying antiquated rockets to space. Re Pulse jet, it is similar PDE. You spray fuel into a detonation chamber...

Russia does a lot of daydreaming nowadays and Russophiles mistake them for realities. In space, Russia should first land a man on the moon, otherwise China will get there ahead of it. As to 6th gen fighter, Russia should first finish its struggling Su-57... Also, there's nothing revolutionary...

If Mach 3 class is hard to produce and no operational drones were inducted in service anywhere aside from D-21, just think of the technical difficulties of producing hypersonic drones. But with time the tech will eventually catch up.

Crashed. That UAV was so advanced in concept but the parts needed a lot of catching up. None were shot down but several crashed during missions over China. Perhaps that's the reason why it was eventually duscontinued.

What do you mean by KH22 "being hypersonic as well" when you were talking about drones? US' D-21 was a drone from the beginning, not a cruise missile turned into a drone. Besides KH22 was only a cruise missile, not a drone.

Just as I thought. You better read more before you start posting. That is D-21 a Mach 3 drone of the US from the 60's. This drone was used over areas with very high concentration of danger. Most of its missions are still classified but there are info of 4 missions over China in tge 60's. The...
