    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Why aren't any missions being announced? It's April, for crying out loud. You would think that specific dates would be released like April 22nd or May 5th for an SSLV or a PSLV. They did that for the last 2 launches, of Xposat and Insat 3Ds.

    Agnikul's Agnibaan launch delayed again ☹ https://theprint.in/india/indias-space-startup-agnikul-delays-maiden-rocket-launch-again/2030072/

Got it, thanks. What would the weight of the actual operational vehicle be? The suborbital test vehicle is 580kg.

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Wow, isn't that an awfully light launch vehicle. When you think of SSLV(120 tonnes) or even SLV-3( 17.6 tonnes). What kind of payload can the vehicle lift?

Any idea what the operational launcher's weight will be?

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Less upbeat and encouraging now ☹. There is no definite SSLV launch in March, and no other launch is certain to go up, even within a 2 month time frame! Of course, there will be launches, it's the lack of certainty as to when, that is dismaying. Hoping for the best!

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Excellent, very encouraging to see the number of launches planned for calendar year 2024. From the above list, it looks like we can expect a minimum of 10 launches in 2024, as many as 15 realistically. The one I :-) am looking forward to the most is Skyroot's launch. By the end of April ?

A missing launch in the above list, is NISAR on GLSV Mk 2, which is scheduled to go up on March 30th, last we heard :)

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

This can't be right, PSLV with Xposat only in June 2024 at the earliest? Maybe it's the absence of info from ISRO that is causing them to guess? https://nextspaceflight.com/launches/details/7100

Exactly one week to go to November 1st. Any sign at all that Gslv Mk2 with Insat 3ds will be launched on that day, or soon after?

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

One nitpick, the XPoSAT is more likely to be launched by the PSLV. Another forum says it's confirmed. Though it would be nice to see it launched by the SSLV :)

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Another reputed website is speaking with a fair degree of certainty, of a PSLV launch about 10 days after the launch of Chandrayaan-3. This is not Aditya evidently, it is a SAR ( synthetic aperture radar) satellite for Singapore. It would be a first for ISRO if they manage that - 2 launches...

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Is there really a good chance that Aditya will be launched very soon after Chandrayaan-3? Even as early as one week later! Going by the schedule given just above.

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Among the planned launches that should be mentioned is Skyroot's first orbital mission. They claimed last year that it would go up by October 2023. That will be a major historic one, the first satellite launch by a private sector Indian company.

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

Any specific news of GSLV Mk2 with the next series of IRNSS? And Aditya? Does the Q1 launch still hold? Have the issues in the CUS-12/15 on GSLV been confidently dealt with?

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

SSLV D2 to be launched next month, February, with some new payload. Another source refers to a launch possibly as early as Jan 26th( take my word for it :)) . Article mentions very possible launch of Chandrayaan-3 in June...

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

HNY. So Agnikul's first launch is not imminent? They were saying 'a few weeks' a few days ago. Nice to hear that they are sticking to the January launch of SSLV-D2. There is something compelling about this vehicle, it's because of the many new systems on board, and the promise of quick...

    Indian Space Launch Schedule

^ There are some sceptics on another forum :), who strongly feel that this PSLV C-54 was the absolute last mission of calendar year 2022. Are they right? ISRO chairman S. Somanath did state that there will be another launch during this year itself, meaning before Dec 31/2022. What accounts...
