It seems both you and I are wrong. There are VLS cells up back as well, so that would make it a total of 4 blocks with 16 missiles each. As far is Brahmos VLS is concerned, the VLS design by L&T is for 8 missiles each.

It should be 8x8 instead of 4x16. Each of those blocks in the front has 4 cells. There are two such blocks, each cell carries 8 missiles. The 32 LR-SAM figure is for Vikrant, Vikramaditya and P-17A. On P-15A there are double as many. SP's Aviation - SP’s Exculsive

The SIPRI database has not been updated for the latest Barak-1 deal and is showing all the old deals only. I am not sure if the LRSAM VLS is compatible with older Barak-1 missile.

Barak is a VLS system. I don't think any VLS have been allotted to Barak-1 yet. Most likely MRSAM=ERSAM. We'll have to wait and watch.
