ALH is a transport helicopter, Rudra is a weaponised version of ALH. LCH is a dedicated attack helicopter, both are different designs.

Apache can take hits and stay in air, It is like a flying tank with modern sensors, weapons etc...etc.... it takes a pilot atleast 2 years (aprox) to master apache helicopter flying. LCH is a light weight attach helicopter. Both have different roles. we need both of them, LCH's in 100's and...

The design seems favourable to make it a stealth copter, with little changes :thumb:

In the wikipedia page it was mentioned HAL Light Combat Helicopter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I think a radar similar to Apache will be a good addition. In the same page it was mentioned TD4 will also be built.

One more prototype is being built TD4 and after that induction I guess. I think adding a radar like the Apache helicopter will enhance the air to air capability.

LCH needs a radar of its own for air to air missile launch.
