Yest in northeast and some parts of LOC it can work, the darkness may reduce after some wash as the uniform in brand new

Might not be the best camo for plain of Punjab, desert of Rajasthan and Ladakh

indian camo is darker and have clearly visible horizontal lines which doesn't break very often. Or maybe it's just me

They actually made them to evade NVG (image intensifiers) this design is known to trick I2s but no enemy of usa were using NVGs in 2002 . Uncle sam was thinking way ahead of it' time and God fucked by poorly equipped nomads with worn-out aks
