Hmm you do make sense. I just hope they have Cameras trained at the splash zone along with other telemetry... Would love to see an actual mach 20 splash.

But the warhead splash zone is clearly outside the area marked in the first page of the PDF... And as I said earlier, the NAVAREA could be a bit south and a full 5000K range one too

If Safety was the concern then why fly over your own Air/Navy bases ? Could have moved the fire corridor a bit to the left and voila, You have a truly open range.

They could have just moved the launch corridor a little bit to the left and they won't have to declare split NOTAMs to avoid Andaman. But I believe they are doing this for a reason. Car Nicobar. Swordfish. Or is it just too convenient ?
