imagine if a country is looking for a trainer then why it will consider a F 18 or Mig 35? I dont think even Malaysians are sure as to what they want. Trainer that can do Combat or an Aircraft that can do both with a flip of a switch.

if dumb person had to do some comparison its this. barring F18, Mig 35 and Tejas rest all are trainer jets converted into a makeshift combat jet. Comparison is illogical.

sry can't comment on this as i dont know much about it. I know that the position of probe is similar to mirage 2000. MK2 will have retractable probe. Some on this forum said that the probe might look like jaguar probe.
