Things will get better than this. This is just a stop gap measure to bring the troops up to standards with Major military forces around the world. Indian Army Will procure equipment that are indigenous and will standardize them across the entire military.

Indian Army have a new Camo Pattern and Uniform very soon and they will also adopt new plate carriers and helmets from indigenous defense contractors.

I guess you are right. At least the army got something. I am glad the army is finally moving out of dinky South Block. This HQ was only possible because of the involvement of Modi Government and proactive army leadership.

The new Army GHQ looks like a one of those buildings you would find in a IT Techno or Business Park. It doesn’t look like the Headquarters of the largest standing and one of the most powerful armies in the world. I wish the building design was modified or completely changed.

It’s was made by the British during there occupation of India.
