    Those rifles are license manufactured or assembled in India at least. Samsung makes or assembles smartphones in India while Micromax only imports (even packing) and sells it calling itself Indian.

    Fabless production. They entirely designed chip & outsourced manufacturing to TSMC. Similar big hub is being developed in India but isn't as advanced.

    Don't fool yourself here. Micromax sells Chinese products with India tag. To less extent, even Inter assembles. Electronic industry isn't that native to India yet so most stuff will remain imported. Still, a good one could be HCL.
